Student Spotlight: Bethany Waters

Bethany Waters from Indianapolis, Indiana, knew from a young age that she wanted to join the military, and her determination only grew stronger after the events of September 11, 2001. During her time in the military, Bethany honed invaluable skills such as problem-solving, adaptability, and time management. Reflecting on her over 20 years of service in the Army, she shares, "I think the most valuable thing I’ve learned is that hard work can overcome any obstacle and what you achieve/receive is equal to the effort you put in."

As she considered her post-military career options, Bethany knew she didn't want a traditional office job. After discovering HVAC careers, she decided to enroll in the Trade Warriors Program. For soldiers and veterans contemplating a career in HVAC, Bethany encourages them to take the plunge but also advises thorough research into the field.
